Rep. Jackie Toledo An effort to promote “grandparent rights” is resurfacing in the Florida Legislature. Rep. Jackie Toledo, R-Tampa, filed HB 1119 on January 3. Sen. Keith Perry, R-Gainesville, filed SB 1408 the same day. Neither bill has yet to receive a committee reference ahead of the 60-day session that convenes January 11.
