Chief Justice Carlos Muñiz addresses the newest members of The Florida Bar at their in induction ceremony at the Florida Supreme Court. “Now you are entering a phase in your lives and careers where other people are going to be depending on you; that is kind of the nature and essence of practicing law,” the chief justice said.

Chief Justice Carlos Muñiz administered the oath to a group of new members of The Florida Bar in a service held October 4 at the Florida Supreme Court in Tallahassee.

Muñiz reminded the new lawyers that they are engaged in a common endeavor to serve the public and that practicing law is a service-oriented profession.
