The Supreme Court has issued six administrative orders extending court time limits in jurisdictions impacted by Hurricane Ian.

In Re: Emergency Request to Extend Time Periods Under All Florida Rules of Procedure for Monroe County in the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, AOSC22-45, cites that court’s September 27-29 storm closure, and a September 26 closure due to the Rosh Hashanah religious holiday.

The order cites an intent to “equitably relieve parties in all pending cases by extending legal time limits that they otherwise would have been unable to meet due to the emergency.”
