Senate Judiciary moves bills to shield personal info of appellate court clerks and JQC staff

Sen. Darryl Rouson The Senate Judiciary Committee agreed Tuesday to shield the personal identifying information of appellate court clerks and Judicial Qualifications Commission staff. The committee voted 9-1 to approve SB 300 by Sen. Darryl Rouson, a St. Petersburg attorney. The proposal would continue a recent effort by lawmakers to protect court workers, Rouson said.
