MIAMI — A 62-year-old woman is suing Norwegian Cruise Line for injuries sustained aboard one of its cruise ships.

Melissa Wilson was a passenger on Norwegian Encore during a 2022 cruise that went from Seattle to Miami via the Panama Canal, with her husband, Harold Wilson, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

The incident occurred on Nov. 8, 2022, during a stop in Panama City, Panama, as the Wilsons and other passengers returned from an excursion and attempted to board the ship via a gangplank.
