A Florida woman has filed a lawsuit against a media company, alleging negligence that resulted in severe injuries. Kaetlyn Baca filed the complaint on August 27, 2024, in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, against Ynvents Media Group Inc.

According to the court documents, Baca’s injury occurred on October 24, 2022, at the Ben Hotel Autograph Collection in West Palm Beach. Employees of Ynvents Media Group were transporting a large metal box containing sound equipment on a flatbed cart when it fell and struck Baca’s left foot and body. The complaint states that the box was unsecured, loose, unstable, hazardous, and dangerous. As a result of this incident, Baca sustained permanent and substantial injuries.

The plaintiff claims that the employees responsible for transporting the metal box were acting within their employment scope with Ynvents Media Group at the time of the accident. Furthermore, she asserts that Ynvents had entered into a contract with the Ben Hotel Autograph Collection and was responsible for moving heavy professional sound equipment related to an event at the hotel. The lawsuit emphasizes that Ynvents owned the metal box involved in Baca’s accident.
