MIAMI — A woman is suing Hamilton Beach alleging a pressure cooker she purchased was unsafe.

Pia Solis claims the Hamilton Beach Multi-function Pressure Cooker caused severe injuries to her, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Solis claims Hamilton Beach, through its agents and employees, designed, developed and marketed the pressure cooker, making various representations about its safety and ease of use.
