Woman accuses Mettler Toledo of ADA, FMLA violations, racial discrimination
A former employee is accusing Mettler Toledo of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Florida Civil Rights Act.
Quaneshia Neal filed her lawsuit against Mettler Toledo in federal court. Mettler Toledo is a global manufacturer of precision instruments.
According to the complaint, Neal is an Black woman with asthma. She alleges she faced discrimination based on her race and disability during her employment at Mettler Toledo. After returning to office work in November 2022 following a period of remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Neal says her asthma condition worsened due to exposure to irritants in the office environment.
