Tammy Henry has filed a lawsuit against a major retail corporation and its affiliates, alleging negligence that led to her injury. The complaint was filed in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on December 16, 2024. The defendants named in the case are Wal-Mart Stores East, LP, John Doe as Manager, and Carretta II LLC.

According to the court documents, Tammy Henry visited a Walmart store located at 12700 South Military Trail in Florida on July 18, 2024. During her visit as a business invitee, she slipped and fell due to milk spilled on the floor. Henry claims that Walmart had actual knowledge of this hazardous condition or should have known about it through reasonable care. She accuses Walmart of failing to maintain a safe environment for customers by not adequately inspecting or correcting the dangerous condition.

Henry further alleges that John Doe, identified as the store manager at the time of the incident, neglected his duty to ensure customer safety by not conducting proper inspections or maintaining surveillance systems effectively. Despite having overhead cameras intended for monitoring store aisles, these were allegedly not operational or lacked necessary film during Doe’s management period. As a result of these failures, Henry suffered permanent bodily injuries and seeks damages exceeding $50,000.
