Tenant Accuses Property Manager BH Management Services of Negligence Leading to Injury
A lawsuit has been filed against a property management company for allegedly creating hazardous conditions that led to an injury. Senada Adzemovic, the plaintiff, lodged the complaint in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, on November 21, 2024, targeting BH Management Services, LLC doing business as Marisol Vista Apartment Homes.
The case revolves around an incident that occurred on January 5, 2024. On this date, Senada Adzemovic was an invitee at Marisol Vista Apartment Homes located at 1280 102nd Avenue N in St. Petersburg, Florida. The complaint details how Adzemovic tripped over an extension cord or cable negligently left across a walkway in the apartment complex’s parking lot. This fall resulted in various injuries and damages for which she holds BH Management Services accountable.
According to the complaint filed by Adzemovic’s attorneys from Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes, P.A., BH Management Services failed to exercise reasonable care by allowing such a dangerous condition to exist on their premises. The lawsuit accuses the defendant of several lapses including not taking reasonable precautions to prevent injuries to invitees like Adzemovic, failing to maintain and inspect the premises adequately, and neglecting to warn individuals about potential hazards despite being aware or should have been aware of them through reasonable diligence.
