Pamela O’Keefe has filed a lawsuit against a Florida not-for-profit corporation, claiming negligence led to her injuries at a concert. The complaint was lodged in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on April 2, 2025, targeting the Palm Beach Gardens Lodge No. 2010, Loyal Order of Moose, Inc.

According to the lawsuit, Pamela O’Keefe attended a Journey tribute band concert on February 24, 2024, held at the defendant’s premises located at 3600 R.C.A Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens. As she was leaving the event around 9:00 PM, she tripped and fell due to what she describes as “broken and deteriorated asphalt,” which was inadequately lit and posed a significant hazard. The plaintiff asserts that this hazardous condition was known or should have been known by the defendant and that they failed to take necessary actions to rectify it or warn attendees.

O’Keefe’s complaint details several allegations against the Palm Beach Gardens Lodge No. 2010. She claims that they neglected their duty of care by not maintaining safe premises for invitees like herself. The lawsuit highlights that the defendant had actual or constructive knowledge of the hazardous conditions but did not exercise reasonable care to inspect or remedy them. Furthermore, it accuses them of failing to provide adequate lighting after sunset during and after the concert, which exacerbated the risk posed by the deteriorated asphalt.
