Plaintiff Resident Sues Luxury Apartment Operator Bell Partners Inc. Over Negligence
Cliff Pozner, a resident of Boca Raton, Florida, has filed a lawsuit against Bell Partners Inc., a foreign profit corporation based in North Carolina. The complaint was filed on February 6, 2025, in the Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Florida. Pozner accuses Bell Partners Inc. of negligence leading to his injury at their luxury apartment complex.
According to the complaint, Cliff Pozner was residing at Bell at Broken Sound Apartments in Boca Raton, owned and operated by Bell Partners Inc. As a tenant, he had access to various amenities provided by the community, including gas bar-b-que grills. On one occasion while using these facilities, Pozner suffered burn injuries due to what he claims were improperly installed or uninsulated knobs on one of the grills. The metal knobs allegedly became extremely hot during normal use, causing harm to Pozner.
Pozner’s legal team argues that Bell Partners Inc. failed in its duty to maintain safe conditions for residents and business invitees like him. The complaint states that the company either knew or should have known about the hazardous condition of the grill knobs and failed to provide adequate warnings or rectify the issue. “Defendant created and/or allowed an unsafe condition,” reads the filing, emphasizing that reasonable care was not exercised by Bell Partners Inc.
