A Palm Beach County resident has taken legal action against a corporation, alleging negligence that led to significant personal injuries. Michael Mignacca filed a complaint in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on October 9, 2024, accusing Brock Services Corp. of failing to maintain safe premises.

The lawsuit stems from an incident on July 15, 2024, when Mignacca visited Gardens Towne Square, a shopping center owned by Brock Services Corp., as a business invitee and guest. During his visit, he was employed at Crazy Horse Saloon, one of the tenants at the shopping center. According to the complaint, Mignacca slipped and fell on green algae and mud that had accumulated over time under a gutter spout and air conditioning drainage exit line in the parking lot area near Crazy Horse Saloon. The plaintiff asserts that this hazardous condition was due to Brock Services Corp.’s negligence in maintaining the premises.

Mignacca’s complaint outlines several allegations against Brock Services Corp., including failure to maintain or adequately maintain the parking lot area, creating a slip hazard for patrons like himself. He further accuses the defendant of neglecting to inspect or warn about the dangerous conditions present in the parking lot area. The complaint also claims that Brock Services Corp. failed to correct or repair these hazards despite having knowledge of prior slip-and-fall incidents caused by similar conditions.
