Anna Shahinian has filed a lawsuit against two Florida corporations, alleging negligence that led to her suffering significant injuries. The complaint was lodged in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on January 23, 2025. The defendants named in the case are Kings Point Recreation Corporation, Inc., and Vesta Property Services, Inc.

The incident at the heart of this legal battle occurred on June 28, 2024. Anna Shahinian claims she was walking as a business invitee on a walkway in front of the Main Clubhouse located at 7000 W. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida—a property owned and managed by both defendants—when she slipped and fell due to a slippery substance on the floor. Shahinian argues that both companies failed in their duty to maintain a safe environment for residents and guests like herself. “Defendants owed Plaintiff a non-delegable duty to exercise reasonable care for her safety,” reads part of the complaint.

Shahinian’s allegations against Kings Point Recreation Corporation include claims that they were aware or should have been aware of the hazardous condition due to its existence over time or frequency of occurrence. She accuses them of failing to maintain or inspect the premises adequately and not warning her about the dangerous conditions despite having superior knowledge. Similarly, Vesta Property Services is accused of neglecting their responsibility to provide a safe environment and failing to act upon known hazards effectively.
