Plaintiff accuses mental health counselor and agency of defamation
A shocking lawsuit has been filed in Palm Beach County, Florida, alleging defamation and professional negligence by a mental health counselor and her employer. On April 21, 2025, Thomas William Beasley III submitted a complaint against Danielle Kosek, LMHC, and Marriage & Family Services Inc., accusing them of fabricating reports that falsely portrayed him as a danger to his children.
According to the complaint, Beasley claims that Kosek conspired with his former spouse, Christina La Ferrera, to produce defamatory psychological reports used in legal proceedings against him. These reports allegedly accused Beasley of being an “endangerment” to his two minor children based on unverified statements from La Ferrera and their young son. The reports were dated May 17, 2023, and February 21, 2025. Beasley asserts that these documents were manufactured without any direct evaluation or contact with him and were solely based on biased accounts from his ex-wife.
The complaint details how these reports led to multiple legal actions initiated by La Ferrera against Beasley. However, each case was dismissed or withdrawn due to lack of evidence. Notably, evidence suggests that Beasley’s son was coached by La Ferrera to make false allegations of abuse—a fact supported by recorded video admissions from the child and confirmed by police reports. Officer Ricci’s report noted inconsistencies in the child’s statements and suspected coaching by the mother.
