MIAMI – A cruise ship passenger has filed a negligence lawsuit against Celebrity Cruises, claiming that she was injured in her cabin’s shower when a defective door suddenly slammed on her leg.

Plaintiff Linda M. Carlson filed a lawsuit in federal court against Celebrity Cruises, Inc., citing allegations of negligent failure to warn, negligent failure to maintain, and general negligence.

According to the lawsuit, on November 19, 2022, Carlson was a passenger on board the Celebrity Reflection cruise ship. Carlson alleges that when she was entering her cabin’s shower, the door suddenly slammed on her right leg, causing her severe injuries.
