Foley & Lardner LLP partner Michael Okaty has been selected to join the University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Business Hall of Fame.

The UCF College of Business Hall of Fame recognizes alumni who have demonstrated exceptional professional success in their field. The highest honor given to business graduates, it is typically awarded to those who have been in their industry for 15-20 years and have brought recognition to the university through their professional achievements.

Okaty, a business lawyer with Foley, helps companies and their owners accomplish their goals, from formation to raising capital to mergers and acquisitions and beyond. With a practice concentrated on a wide variety of corporate transactions, governance, and counseling, he also serves as an advisor and trustee to high net-worth individuals and families. Co-chair of Foley’s national Transactions Practice and a member of the firm’s Finance Committee and Federal PAC board, Okaty is also a former member of Foley’s Management Committee and previous managing partner of the firm’s Orlando office.
