In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, plaintiffs Kendrick McGirt and Marquez Levins have filed a lawsuit against defendants Kelly Dellerman and Lyft Inc., a foreign profit corporation. The case, numbered 24-001616-CI, was filed on April 10, 2024.

The plaintiffs, represented by an unnamed attorney, are seeking damages in excess of $50,000 for a motor vehicle collision that occurred on April 20, 2023. The incident took place in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida when defendant Kelly Dellerman allegedly rear-ended the plaintiffs’ vehicle while carelessly speeding.

The collision resulted in severe and lasting injuries to the plaintiffs. As per the complaint filed, both McGirt and Levins were lawfully traveling on 9th Avenue South when the accident occurred.
