Baylor Law School is pleased to announce that Gregory Passa will join Baylor Law’s full-time faculty as an Assistant Professor of Law starting August 1, 2024. Professor Passa brings a wealth of expertise in intellectual property law and patent prosecution, alongside a distinguished academic background.

Before joining Baylor Law, Professor Passa was a Visiting Associate Professor of Law and Frank H. Marks Intellectual Property Law Fellow at the George Washington University Law School. His research, prominently featured in the Journal of the Patent and Trademark Office Society, focuses on patent litigation, prosecution, and examination.

Professor Passa holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Columbia Law School, where he was recognized as a James Kent Scholar. His academic journey includes a Masters of Philosophy in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a summa cum laude undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.
