PALM BEACH – A former employee is suing a Palm Beach restaurant for discrimination, claiming she was fired because of her age.

Plaintiff Janice Fox filed a complaint in federal court against the Dive Bar Restaurant alleging violations of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992. 

According to court documents, Fox was hired to work as a seasonal server at the Dive Bar Restaurant in 2013. She claims she was wrongfully terminated on October 10, 2022, despite nine years of exemplary service, based on her age of 52.
