In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida, plaintiff Briana Josephine Childers has filed a lawsuit against defendants Yoany Crespo Gonzalez and Ryder Truck Rental LT. The case number is 24-001339-CI and was filed on March 22, 2024. The lawsuit revolves around an automobile accident that occurred on July 31, 2023, with damages exceeding $50,000.

Represented by her attorney, Childers alleges that Gonzalez, while employed by Ryder Truck Rental LT and operating one of their vehicles, negligently caused an accident with her vehicle at I-275 N (SR 93) and SR 688 (Ulmerton Road) in Unincorporated Pinellas County. This accident resulted in severe injuries to Childers including significant loss of bodily function and permanent scarring.

The complaint further states that as a result of the defendant’s negligence, Childers suffered both past and future medical expenses. She also lost wages due to the accident and has lost her capacity to earn wages in the future.
