Desrosiers filed a complaint against Astro Skating Center of Palm Beach County, LLC, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on February 6, 2025. The lawsuit stems from an accident that occurred on May 25, 2024, when Desrosiers was injured while skating at the facility.

According to the complaint, Desrosiers claims that she suffered severe and permanent injuries due to inadequate supervision at the Astro Skating Center. The lawsuit alleges that the skating center failed to provide reasonable oversight of its premises, which resulted in unsupervised children skating recklessly and colliding with Desrosiers.
