Navigation Young lawyers extend nomination deadline for its annual YLD Pro Bono Service Award
Then YLD President Santo DiGangi presented the YLD Pro Bono Service Award to Jacksonville attorney Belkis Plata at last year’s Pro Bono Service Awards Ceremony at the Florida Supreme Court.
Due to the pandemic, The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division has extended the nomination deadline for is annual YLD Pro Bono Service Award until Friday, September 18, at 5 p.m.
The award recognizes the public service or legal aid performed by a young lawyer (younger than 36 or who has not practiced for more than five years in any jurisdiction) who provides outstanding contributions to those in need of legal services. A nominee must be admitted to practice in Florida.
