YLD expands basic skills courses with focus on legal interpretation and pro bono services
Ashlea Edwards: ‘It’s not just statutory interpretation, but making sure young lawyers understand how to analyze precedent. I’m working with the court, and I’m working with Board, to see what that interpretation would look like.’
The Young Lawyers Division is expanding the library of basic skills courses that the 26,000-member division is tasked each year with producing and maintaining.
YLD President Ashlea Edwards said production of two new courses should be completed in time for The Florida Bar Annual Convention, June 25-28, in Boca Raton.
