A House panel on Wednesday overwhelmingly approved a bipartisan proposal to expand Florida’s Wrongful Death Act.

The House Civil Justice & Claims Subcommittee voted 16-2 to approve HB 6003 by Republican Rep. Dana Trabulsy, a Ft. Pierce business owner.
