Florida Bar member Onika K. Williams was sworn in as the 37th chair of the National Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.

An attorney-advisor for the U.S. Surface Transportation Board in Washington, D.C., Williams will lead the NBA YLD, the home of the young lawyer within the NBA and represents the interests of young black attorneys under the age of 40 years old or originally admitted to practice within the past 10 years.

This year’s NBA YLD theme is “2020 and Beyond: Recognizing the Importance of the Young Lawyer.”
