With the COVID-19 pandemic ruling out an in-person gathering for the 10th anniversary of “Getting a Head Start on Pro Bono,” organizers decided a different kind of Jeopardy! was in order.

This year’s online event, sponsored again by the Miami office of the Hogan Lovells law firm along with Dade Legal Aid: Put Something Back, featured a localized version of the popular game show, Jeopardy!

What stayed the same with what originated as a lunch event and then morphed into an evening soiree for summer associates and law clerks at Miami firms was the importance of pro bono in their legal careers. Around 80 people, including more than 60 law students and summer associates, attended the July 31 event, which also included several judges and Bar officials.
