Two contested special elections for Bar Board of Governors set for March
Two contested races have emerged in special elections for vacant seats on the Bar Board of Governors following the close of filing on December 31.
In the Fourth Circuit, two lawyers have filed to replace Michale Fox Orr, who resigned after being named the Bar’s president-elect designate. The candidates are Fraz Ahmed and Geddes D. Anderson, Jr., both of Jacksonville.
In the 17th Circuit, Sherea L. Randle will face Kyle S. Roberts to replace board member Hilary Creary, who stepped down after being appointed general magistrate for the 17th Circuit Domestic Relations Division. Both Randle and Roberts are from Ft. Lauderdale.
