Pursuant to Rule 3-7.10, Kenneth Eric Trent of Ft, Lauderdale has petitioned the Supreme Court for Bar reinstatement.

By order of the Supreme Court dated September 9, 2020, Trent was suspended for a period of two years for disobeying a bankruptcy judge’s order. Trent tried to dismiss the bankruptcy in an attempt to contravene the court’s order. In another matter, Trent filed a malpractice lawsuit but failed to serve the defendant. His lack of communication caused his client to lose her ability to sue since the statute of limitation ran on her claim.

Any persons having knowledge bearing upon Trent’s fitness or qualifications to resume the practice of law should contact Cheryl L. Soler, Paralegal for The Florida Bar, at csoler@floridabar.org.
