The Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Criminal Cases accepting applications
The Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Criminal Cases is now accepting applications for membership on the committee.
The committee is charged with updating the criminal and Jimmy Ryce jury instructions based on statutory changes and opinions issued by appellate courts. The committee meets approximately four times a year usually in the Central Florida area. All appointments are made by the chief justice.
There is no open position this year for a criminal defense attorney in private practice.
