The Florida Bar will host a luncheon to honor attorneys and senior counselors for 50 years of service and dedication to the practice of law during the Annual Florida Bar Convention on Friday, June 23, at 12:30 p.m. at The Boca Raton resort hotel in Boca Raton. Other veteran lawyers will also be recognized at the event.

Honorees are active or inactive members in good standing with The Florida Bar as of January 1, 2023, even if they spent part of their careers in other states.

The luncheon, coordinated by the Senior Lawyers Committee, will recognize more than 700 lawyers. Former Supreme Court Justice Barbara Pariente will speak at the luncheon and be among those honored as a 50-year member. Other presentations will be by Justice Jorge Labarga in recognition of 50-year member and former Bar President Hank Coxe and Board of Governors member Sia Baker-Barnes in recognition of Judge Patricia Seitz, also a 50-year member and former Bar President.
