The Florida Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission has extended the application period is seeking qualified applicants to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Ricky Polston.

Based on recent correspondence with the Governor’s office, the JNC is extending the date to receive applications through Monday, April 17, at 5 p.m. EDT.

Those who have already submitted applications by the original April 3 deadline need not reapply, however they may amend their current application if they so choose.
