It’s been an active year for the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society with the first in-person annual dinner since 2020, renaming of its highest award, receipt of a statewide historical magazine award, and a major restoration project among its educational and celebratory activities.

Sat Cito Si Recte” (Latin for “Soon enough if done rightly”), the motto on the 150-year-old Florida Supreme Court seal, was the theme of A Supreme Evening 2022 which gathered legal leaders and guests to present awards, hear from our Chief Justice Charles Canady, and meet keynote speaker Texas Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht.

Honoring individuals with the newly named Susan Rosenblatt Lifetime Achievement Award, this year received by former Supreme Court Justice Major B. Harding and the family of society leader and Miami attorney, the late Susan Rosenblatt.
