Navigation Supreme Court creates two Judicial Management Council workgroups on local courts
The Supreme Court has created two new Judicial Management Council workgroups, charged with respectively examining technology available to trial courts and local courtroom operations.
Chief Justice Charles Canady issued Administrative Order SC21-57, Workgroup on Judicial Practices in the Trial Courts, and Administrative Order SC21-56, Workgroup on Trial Court Technology Strategies, on November 9.
The judicial practices workgroup will report by February 10, 2023, and technology workgroup by May 31, 2023. The JMC, which advises the court on a variety of issues, will submit the reports to the court through the Office of the State Courts Administrator.
