Supreme Court Clerk John Tomasino honored with James C. Adkins Award
Supreme Court Clerk John Tomasino is the recipient of this year’s Appellate Practice Section James C. Adkins Award for his efforts to modernize and streamline Florida’s appellate courts. The Appellate Practice Section presented Florida Supreme Court Clerk John Tomasino its 2025 James C. Adkins Award, which honors a member of The Florida Bar who has made significant contributions to Florida appellate practice.
Tomasino was nominated by Supreme Court Chief Justice Carlos Muñiz, judges from each of the District Courts of Appeal, and all six DCA Clerks of Court. Their joint nomination highlights Tomasino’s “exceptional leadership, innovation, and service since his appointment in 2013.”
