Navigation Supreme Court certifies need for 25 new trial court judges
The Florida Supreme Court has certified the need for 13 additional circuit court judgeships and 12 more for the county courts in its annual certification opinion.
Acting November 26 in Case No. SC2025-1808, the justices also said there was no need for additional district court judgeships this year.
The ask for 25 new judicial positions comes on the heels of the Legislature creating 39 new judgeships last session.
