Jeanne M. Singer, chief assistant state attorney for the Eighth Judicial Circuit in Florida has received the National District Attorneys Association’s Distinguished Prosecutor Award during its 2020 Summer Summit Virtual Series titled “The Challenge of Change: Prosecutors Leading the Way.”

Each year, NDAA recognizes prosecutors who have distinguished themselves as they seek justice, hold offenders accountable, and protect the rights of victims through daily service to their communities and their efforts to share expertise and knowledge with other prosecutors around the country through training and technical assistance.

In her nomination, it was noted that Singer has “been instrumental in developing a cadre of young prosecutors who now share her passion for pursuing justice, especially for the voiceless.”
