The Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday approved a measure, long supported by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, that would require public lactation spaces in Florida courthouses.

The panel voted 11-0 to approve SB 144 by Sen. Lori Berman, D-Boynton Beach. A companion, HB 87 by Rep. Ashley Gantt, D-Miami, is up before the House Civil Justice Subcommittee on February 14.
