Navigation Second Circuit JNC releases judicial nominee slates
The elevation of Judge Jason Jones to the Circuit Court, and the addition of a Circuit Court seat by the passage of SB 2508 crated a vacancy on the Second Judicial Court bench and the Leon County bench.
Gov. Ron DeSantis asked the Second Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission to provide him with qualified nominees for these vacancies. After interviews and deliberations, the nominees are listed in alphabetical order as follows:
