Navigation Schifino to join the Board of Governors

Tampa attorney John A. Schifino has been elected to the Bar Board of Governors from the 13th Circuit after incumbent board member Kenneth G. Turkel withdrew from the race. Schifino was certified as a board member-elect on January 3.
Aside from the Bar president-elect contest between board members Lorna Brown-Burton and Scott Westheimer, Turkel’s withdrawal leaves two contested board races in the Bar’s March elections. In the 10th Circuit incumbent board member C. Richard Nail is being challenged by Victor R. Smith and in the 17th Circuit William Gelin is running against incumbent board member Jay Kim.
