Navigation Rule amendments, platform for resolving minor civil disputes on board’s October agenda
When it convenes October 1, the Board of Governors is expected, among other things, to weigh a series of proposed rule amendments, and receive an update on the potential for creating an automated platform for resolving minor civil disputes.
Supreme Court Justice Alan Lawson is also scheduled to deliver brief remarks.
The board could also weigh final action on a proposed amendment to Bar Rule 3-5.2 (Emergency Suspension and Interim Probation or Interim Placement on the Inactive List for Incapacity Not Related to Misconduct).
