The Florida Bar’s Media & Communications Law Committee invites journalists to join a free online webinar, “Hot Topics in Public Records,” at 11 a.m. (EDT) today, May 21.
This session is open to all media and legal professionals and offers valuable insights into legal reporting. Registration is required via Zoom at this link.
For over 35 years, the annual Florida Bar Reporters’ Workshop has been held in Tallahassee. It is an intensive two-day course designed for 24 print, online, TV, and radio journalists new to the courts and legal beats or new to Florida. Due to Hurricane Milton, the in-person 2024 Reporters’ Workshop was canceled. Instead, the Media & Communications Law Committee is working to have online webinars on different topics relevant to court/legal reporting throughout the year and open to all journalists in the state.
