A bill that would make it easier for property owners to challenge land-use restrictions under the 1995 Bert Harris Property Rights Act is headed to Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Without discussion or debate, the Senate voted 34-6 on April 26 to give final approval to HB 421 by Rep. Jenna Persons-Mulicka, R-Ft. Myers and an attorney. Sen. Ben Albritton, R-Bartow, sponsored the companion, SB 1876.
