Program Evaluation Committee considers Florida Lawyers Assistance program review
The Program Evaluation Committee will weigh a proposed review of Florida Lawyers Assistance, Inc., when it meets later this month to consider projects for the coming year.
The committee, whose mission is to conduct periodic, in-depth evaluations of selected Florida Bar programs, will consider initiating a joint review of FLA with the two other board committees, Disciplinary Review and Budget.
Florida Lawyers Assistance, Inc., was formed in 1986 after the Florida Supreme Court called for a program to identify and help Bar members who suffer from substance abuse, mental health, or other disorders.
