The Lee County Bar Association is honoring 20 local lawyers for their efforts on behalf of low-income county residents in need of legal aid — and nearly half the honorees are affiliated with the Lee County Legal Aid Society.

The Lee County Bar’s annual Pro Bono Awards recognize local lawyers and judges who devote their time and energy to those unable to afford an attorney on their own.
