Lawyers submitting documents and paying filing and other fees through the court system’s statewide e-filing Portal will have to update their credit card or ACH account number information when the Portal undergoes an updating later this year.

The upgrading, which will happen in late October or early November, will include the Portal moving to a new payment processor. Credit card and ACH information saved currently in the Portal will not be transferred to the new payment processor.

That means the first time a lawyer or other filer submits a document that requires paying a fee, they will have to provide the credit card or ACH information and click on save if they wish to use that information for future submissions.
