Juan Carlos Parets of Miami filed a Petition for Disciplinary Revocation on May 31, 2013, after allegations that he misappropriated and/or diverted funds entrusted to him. Parets’ petition was granted and his license to practice law in Florida was revoked with leave to apply for readmission to The Florida Bar pursuant to the Supreme Court’s order of May 20, 2014.

He has now submitted an application for Bar readmission. The Florida Board of Bar Examiners will conduct a public hearing on Parets’ application for readmission. All members of the Bar are invited to write to the board regarding their knowledge of this applicant, particularly in relation to his character and fitness for readmission to The Florida Bar. If you wish to be notified of the time and place of the hearing, submit a written request to Michele A. Gavagni, Executive Director of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, 1891 Eider Court, Tallahassee 32399-1750.
