Mike Caruso, pictured above with his wife Tracy, was appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis as Palm Beach County clerk and comptroller on August 18. A certified public accountant, Caruso was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2018. Caruso replaces Joseph Abruzzo, who is now serving as county administrator for Palm Beach County.

Mike Caruso, a certified public accountant who has served in the Florida House of Representatives since 2018, has been sworn in as the clerk of the circuit court and comptroller for Palm Beach County.

“It has been the honor of my life to serve the people of Florida,” said Caruso. “I am deeply thankful to my constituents for their trust, my colleagues for their partnership, and most especially Gov. Ron DeSantis for the opportunity to continue serving the citizens of Palm Beach County in this important capacity.”
