The Palm Beach County Bar Association Committee on Diversity and Inclusion helped sponsor several highly-selected summer legal interns in West Palm Beach law firms including Ryan Johnson, right, a 2L at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Hosting a recent lunch for him were mentors, from left: mediator/arbitrator Lawrence Gordon, president of the Palm Beach County Caucus of Black Elected Officials and a member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors Citizens Advisory Committee, attorney/mediator Eunice Tall Baros, founding president of the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law Alumni Chapter in Palm Beach County, and personal injury trial attorney/pharmacist Salesia Smith-Gordon, newly-installed president of the Florida State University College of Law Black Alumni Network and a member of The Links, Incorporated, West Palm Beach Chapter. Johnson spent his summer interning at Smith, Ball & Baez injury lawyers. Johnson and Gordon are both from Mississippi.
