Some of those participating in the PBCBA Reading and Robes event included Judge Bradley Harper; Judge Paige Gillman; Judge Samantha Feuer, and attorneys Kate Harris and Andrew Kwan.

The Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Judicial Relations Committee, together with the Association’s Lawyers for Literacy and Law Related Education Committees, recently brought to students at Starlight Cove Elementary in Lantana the “Reading & Robes” program, a community outreach initiative lead by The National Judicial College.

Judges and attorneys read to the students Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s autobiographical book, Turning Pages: My Life Story. The group discussed with the students the book as well as answered questions the students had about law, jury trials, the justice system, and careers in the law.
